After ending 2025 assisting the Quakertown Fire Department at a working fire, 2026 started with another fire. This time assisting the Perkasie Fire Company at another fire.
Sellersville Volunteers with Tower 27 were called to assist Perkasie at a reported fire in the 500 block of Race Street. The caller had reported something on fire on the 3rd floor and PFC Chief’s arrived with smoke showing from the same floor.
The Tower’s crew arrived and split to throw ground ladders, perform searches, opening up for the engine company, and assist Tower 26’s crew with ventilation.
Engine and Rescue 27 responded extra, established a manpower pool when they arrived, and performed various assigned tasks by Command.
