Sellersville volunteers responded to 38 emergencies in the month of October. In addition to the responses, we were able to spread our fire prevention message to 700 students at schools and day care facilities throughout our community. This also includes over 150 teachers and staff, and nearly 40 residents in an age restricted community.

Speaking of fire prevention, the Bucks County burn ban continues through the end of November! With minimal rain in the forecast, expect dry conditions to last for weeks to come. Open burning combined with high winds and dry leaves and grass is a recipe for disaster.
