Station 27 was dispatched for the report of a vehicle fire at Bethlehem Pike and Keystone Drive in Hilltown Township at 6:49 PM on Friday, September 1st. At the time of dispatch, a large column of black smoke could be seen to the south of town. Chief 27 arrived to confirm the report of a fully involved mid sized SUV. The crew from Rescue 27 used the front bumper line to extinguish the fire and Engine 27 was on scene to supplement the water supply. No injuries were reported during this incident.
