February 7, 2021

Just before 9am, Engine 27 was dispatched as part of a tanker task force assignment for a dwelling fire in the 2400 block of North 5th Street in East Rockhill Township. When Engine 27 arrived, they were directed to the scene to assist with fire suppression activities. Once a majority of the fire was knocked down on the first floor, the engine crew and members from Station 60 discovered additional fire in the basement. Tower 27 arrived on scene and assisted with ventilation and overhaul. Chief 27 was in charge of water supply operations, and Engine 27-1 responded to Pennridge High School to establish a water supply. Five tankers were filled from that location. Traffic 27 assisted with traffic control for the tanker shuttle. Montgomery County Tower 74 relocated to Station 27 for approximately 2 hours. The fire is under investigation by the Bucks County Fire Marshal's Office.

Units: Engine 27, Tower 27, Engine 27-1, Chief 27
