On Monday night at 11:20 PM, Hazmat 27 was added to an assignment on Market Street in Perkasie Boro. Crews from Perkasie FD were on scene with an overturned 55 gallon drum of used cooking oil. Engine 26 was able to stop the spread of grease initially, but required more resources to cover the spill. SFD crews provided multiple bags of oil dry stored on the decon/spill control trailer.
