On Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, the Sellersville Fire Department held our annual awards banquet. Members and invited guests enjoyed "A Night Under the Sea", another wonderful theme crafted by our banquet committee. Congratulations to our Firefighter of the Year, Greg Swierzewski. Past President Bill Spaeth was recognized for his years as president, and awarded the Blackwell Award for distinguished service. We also recognized Jim & Marty Steeley as our Citizens of the Year for their countless hours of help and service to our organization! During the awards ceremony, the Ladies Auxiliary presented the department with $5,000 towards the new sign board in front of the station. The ladies also presented a $30,000 check to the department for the second year in a row! Our Ladies Auxiliary is a very special and hard working group. We are very thankful for their efforts and generosity. Special thanks goes out to Southampton Fire Company for standing by at our station while our members enjoyed the evening.
