Shortly before 7:00 AM on Saturday morning, Engine 27 was dispatched on the initial assignment to the 900 block of Fairhill Rd in Silverdale Fire Company's section of Hilltown Township. Deputy 60 from Hilltown arrived on scene to report a fully involved farm house, with fire through the roof. Rescue 60 laid 5" hose down the driveway, and Engine 27 followed behind to support operations. Engine 27-1 was dispatched as part of the tanker task force to supply water to the scene. Their crew was redirected to the fireground to assist in exterior operations. Firefighters from Bucks and Montgomery Counties worked throughout the morning to extinguish the blaze.
