| Last evening, Sellersville Volunteers and Station 26 responded to a report of an auto extrication at the intersection of Bethlehem Pike and Forrest Road in West Rockhill Township. According to callers, a single vehicle had left the roadway and came to rest on its side. The occupants were uninjured but unable to exit the vehicle. Rescue 27 split its crew to stabilize the vehicle and deploy a protection line. Rescue 26 arrived shortly after to assist with removing the windshield, allowing the occupants to safely exit. Coincidentally, the department practiced a similar scenario during Thursday night training at Wilcox Recycling. (See second picture.) |
