Diamond Street Extrication |

At 6:14 PM on Friday, October 4th, Rescue Box 59-7 was dispatched for the area of Diamond Street and Schoolhouse Road in Hilltown Township for the report of an overturned vehicle with the driver unconscious and entrapped. Deputy 27 (Wilhelm) arrived on scene and confirmed one victim entrapped in the vehicle. Rescue 27 (Valentine) arrived on scene and started stabilizing the car while preparing to remove a door for patient access. The crew from Rescue 59 assisted with operations and Engine 27 (C. Wagner) provided a crew for fire suppression if necessary. The patient was removed from the car less than 10 minutes after fire department arrival. All Sellersville units were clear from the scene by 6:45 PM, with the exception of Traffic 27 which continued to provide traffic control until duty tow arrived. |
