Route 309 Extrication

At 7:47 AM on Thursday, April 11th, Rescue 27 was dispatched with Montgomery County Station 75 (Telford) for an auto extrication in the southbound lanes of the Route 309 bypass in the area of Route 152. After dispatch, updated reports came in that the incident was closer to Cathill Rd. Assistant 27 (C. Wagner) arrived on scene confirming that it was a station 27 box with one vehicle on its roof with one entrapped and established command. As Rescue 27 was preparing to go in service with their rescue tools EMS was able to extricate the patient through the back window and walk them to the ambulance. The assignment was held to station 27 units which provided hazard control and fire police from Montco Station 75 closed the SB bypass at Lawn Avenue. All units were clear of the bypass at 9:02 AM.
