First Due Dwelling Fire

May 4, 2023

At 1:09 AM on Thursday, May 4th, Sellersville Volunteers and surrounding companies were dispatched to the unit block of Green Street in Sellersville Boro for the report of a house on fire. Assistant 27 (Wilhelm) and Chief 27 (Wagner) both arrived on scene to confirm fire showing on the A/B corner of a two story dwelling. Wagon 27 laid a 5" supply line from Main Street to the fire scene and pulled a handline to the first floor interior. Upon the arrival of Engine 26 (Perkasie), a second handline was stretched to the 2nd floor. Tower 27 and Truck 18 (West End) provided ladders for crews to access the second floor due to the interior stairs being burned away. Engine 61 (Hilltown) assisted with the interior attack and opening up the dwelling to check for extension. Many other companies and units assisted our department and covered our station while we responded to this emergency.
