At 6:47 PM on Saturday, September 17th, Sellersville Fire Department was dispatched for an automobile accident with injuries at the intersection of Park Avenue and Main Street in Sellersville Boro. While responding, Chief 27 was advised that the driver and passenger in the vehicle both had sustained injuries after striking a concrete retaining wall. Wagon and Utility 27 responded to assist with patient care and control the hazards associated with the crash. The patients were transported to Grand View Hospital by Medic 108 and Medic 339. Sellersville Fire Police Officers controlled traffic at the busy intersection while all personnel operated at the scene. The accident is under investigation by the Perkasie Police Department. All units were clear from the scene in less than an hour.
