Firefighter Rescue Training

14 volunteers attended our hands on training session on Tuesday night. Our focus was breaching walls and moving downed firefighters or victims. This training was a refresher for an upcoming Rapid Intervention Team training class that will be held in April. RIT is dispatched to all dwelling and building fires to standby in the event a firefighter needs assistance while in the building. By offering RIT services, we are further able to assist our mutual aid companies when the time arises.
