| On Wednesday, March 16th, our department was dispatched to three separate emergencies throughout the day.
One response was to assist Perkasie Fire Company with the report of smoke in a house in the 700 block of South Main Street in Perkasie. Personnel discovered an HVAC technician working on the home heating system. Crews were able to ventilate the smoke before declaring the scene safe.
The final call for the day was a brush fire on Tower Road in West Rockhill Township. Chief and Wagon 27 arrived to find a fire which was no longer contained by the intended ring. The fire spread to a nearby wooded area before before being extinguished. All units were available a short time later. |
