On August 23, 2021, the apparatus replacement committee and Department President Greg Castelli met with Matt Wiedenhaefer from Glick Fire Equipment to sign a contract for a 2022 Pierce Enforcer Heavy Duty Rescue Pumper. Upon arrival, this rescue pumper will replace the current Engine 27-1, a 2001 E-One. The unit will include seating for six firefighters, have a 1500 GPM pump, and a 750 gallon booster tank. The apparatus also features a 10 kW hydraulic generator, a front intake, a bumper line, cross lays, one booster line, prepiped deck gun, and rear discharges. Delivery is anticipated in September 2022.
