Shortly before 7pm on Saturday, February 6th, Tower 27 and Engine 27 were dispatched to 6th St and W Spruce St in Perkasie Borough for the reported building fire. Upon the arrival of Chief 26 and Chief 27, it was determined that a portion of the roof had collapsed, presumably due to the weight of the snow. Tower 27 was utilized for aerial views of the building, and crews checked the surrounding area for structural integrity. SFD units operated for approximately 1 hour before being released from the scene.
