At 1717 hours, SFD Volunteers and mutual aid were alerted for an auto extrication on the northbound side of the Sellersville Bypass in West Rockhill Township. Battalion 58 (T. Yerk) came across the accident and was reporting a multi-vehicle crash with people trapped. Rescue 18 arrived first and went to work removing the trapped victims. Engine 27-1 pulled a protection line as Engine 58's crew assisted with the extrication. Squad 72 staged off of the bypass. Chief 27 had the command and Deputy 87 (S. Cassel) had operations.
