It is with deep regret the members of the Sellersville Fire Department announce the passing of Life Member and past Assistant Chief Frank "Bud" Wenger, Jr.

Bud was a long-time citizen of Sellersville involved in civic activities all his adult life. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. He was on the Sellersville Borough council from January 1966 to December 2010 and the West Rockhill-Sellersville Joint Recreation Authority (Holiday House Pool) from its beginning in 1969 until July 2018. He also served on the Sellersville Planning Commission and was Chairman for a time. He was also a life member of the Sellersville Fire Department (Past Asst. Chief and Secretary)and was active in the Pennridge Community Center. Like many other residents in the area, Bud worked and retired from the U.S. Gauge. He will be missed by family and his many friends.
