On Sunday morning, just after 8:00 AM, SFD was dispatched to municipal parking lot at Lawn Ave & Maple Ave for the report of a camper trailer on fire. Chief 27 arrived to find a fully involved travel trailer with fire extending to the adjacent hillside. Engine 27 quickly arrived, with the crew pulling the 200' bumper line. Engine 27-1 was on scene for additional manpower needs. Engine 26 was added to the assignment, but recalled shortly thereafter. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
