Just after 4:00 AM, Engine 27 was added to a dwelling fire assignment, initially dispatched as a residential fire alarm. The incident took place in the 700 block of East Rockhill Road, in Perkasie Fire Company’s area of East Rockhill Township. Chief 27 was the water supply officer, while Engine 27 pumped water to Engine 18 from the tanker shuttle dump site at the end of the driveway. The crew from Engine 27 pulled a 3rd handline into the basement of the dwelling and assisted in opening up the house to check for extension.
