2019 proved to be another busy year for the Sellersville volunteers. The year ended with 379 dispatches for service. The breakdown of call type and volume is listed below:

Fires(all types): 69 / 18.20%
Rescue & Emerg. Medical Service Incident: 28 / 7.38%
Hazardous Conditions (No Fire): 78 / 20.58%
Service Call: 13 / 3.43%
Good Intent Call: 64 / 16.88%
False Alarm & False Call: 76 / 20.05%
Severe Weather Type: 2 / 0.52%
Fire Police: 49 / 12.92%

Our incidents were spread out between the four municipalities where we provide primary coverage, and a variety of mutual aid responses:

Sellersville Borough: 93 / 24.53%
West Rockhill Twp: 166 / 43.79%
East Rockhill Twp: 15 / 3.95%
Hilltown Twp: 35 / 9.23%
Mutual Aid: 70 / 18.46%

Our average turnout per call throughout the year was 8 personnel, providing 1,656 man hours or service. In addition to the emergency calls, our members participated in 1,814 hours of in house and county level training. We're always looking for new members to join our team.
