Shortly before 10:00 AM, Sellersville Volunteers were alerted to a vehicle extrication at Bethlehem Pike & Ridge Road in West Rockhill Township. Rescue 26 from Perkasie was due on the initial assignment. Tower 27 stabilized the overturned vehicle while Rescue 26 pulled their hydraulic tools. Crews from both companies worked together to remove the driver from the overturned vehicle. Utility 27 assisted with hazard control at the scene. Medic 151 from Grand View Hospital provided patient care. Montgomery County Squad 72 (Tylersport) was added to the assignment, but returned to service a short time later. Fire police from multiple agencies remained on scene for an extended period time to secure the scene and keep the intersection closed.
