Car Into Trees on 309 Exit Ramp

Station 27 was dispatched for a Standby with Medic 151 (Grand View) to a single vehicle accident at 13:44 hours. Engine 27-1 arrived shortly after the medic and assisted with patient care.  After the patient was transported, crews secured the vehicle and cleared some downed trees from around the vehicle.  The station was available shortly after 14:00 hours.

Asher D. "Jack" Wambold

The Officers and Members regret to announce the passing of long time member, Asher D. “Jack” Wambold, 70, a fire police officer. Members observed a funeral on August 18th, with the flag at half staff. Obituary as follows.

Ladies Auxiliary Basket Bingo

The Ladies Auxiliary of Sellersville Fire Dept. will be holding a benefit on August 15th.  Tickets will be $20 in advance, but $25 at the door, so get your tickets now by calling 215.257.4028 Ex 58 or email sfdbasketbingo@yahoo.com. Food, Drinks, and Baked Goods will be available.  Doors open at 11:30am and games start at 1:00 pm

Annual Carnival

This week, Tuesday July 13th through Saturday July 17th, the carnival is in town right behind our station at 2 N. Main Street in downtown Sellersville. Unlimited Ride Wristbands are available Tuesday July 13th, Thursday July 15th, and a Matinee Wristband is available Saturday July 17th.  Fireworks will launch after dark on Friday, July 16th.  Food Tickets are available and proceeds go directly to the department. Entertainment all week by DJ Christian.

Fire Alarm at the Sellersville Theater

June 29 at 20:10 hours, Station 27 was dispatched to the Sellersville Theater for a fire alarm.  The crews arrived to find a smoke condition in the theater.  Crews had determined that the smoke was coming from one of the air conditioning units on the roof.  The Department was available at 21:29 hours.
