Route 152 MVA

At 0642 hours, Station 27 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with 1 patient possibly ejected and another possibly trapped.  Deputy 27 (Kelly) went on scene and reported negative ejection and entrapment.  Engine 27-1 went on scene and split their crew to secure both vehicles. Crews were on scene for just over a half hour.

Second Motor Vehicle Accident 

June 21 at 15:59 hours, Engine 27-1 responded to the second two car accident of the day.  The crew from Engine 27-1 arrived on scene, assisting Squad 151 (Grand View) with patient care and securing the hazards.  One patient was transported to Grand View Hospital. The Department was available at 16:36 hours.

Motor Vehicle Accident at Ridge Rd and Bethlehem Pike

June 21 at 12:18 hours, Engine 27-1 to a two car accident at the intersection of Ridge Rd. and Bethlehem Pike.  The crew from Engine 27-1 arrived on scene and assisted Squad 151 (Grand View) with patient care. One person was transported to Grand View Hospital.  The crew also secured all hazards.  The Department was available at 12:48 hours.

Motorcycle Accident on Old Bethlehem Pike

June 17 at 19:00 hours, Station 27 was dispatched for a motorcycle accident on the 2000 block of Old Bethlehem Pike.  Battalion 27-1 (Wagner) arrived on scene and confirmed a motorcycle had struck the rear of a minivan, and requested Medevac be placed on standby.  Engine 27-1 and Medic 151 arrived and began patient care.  Engine 27 was assigned to the landing zone (L.Z.) at Lapps Landscaping, for the helicopter.  Battalion 27-1 moved the L.Z. to Bergey’s Vulcanizing and became the L.Z. officer.   Captain 27 (Rotzell) and the crew from Engine 27-1 remained on scene with the motorcycle and assisted with the cleanup until the tow truck arrived.  All crews were available at 19:59 hours.

Motor Vehicle Accident

Engine 27 and Rescue 26 (Perkasie) were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) with entrapment. Upon Battalion 27-1’s (Wagner) arrival, there was no entrapment and the assignment was held to all 27 apparatus.
