Around 11:00am, units from the Quakertown area were dispatched to the 400 block of East Broad Street for the report of fire coming from the roof of a house. Initial officers and apparatus arrived to confirm a working building fire. Several minutes later, Engine 27 was added to the assignment to assist with manpower. The crew from Engine 27 assisted with ventilation and salvage in the fire building.
