Shortly before 5:00 am, Tower 27 was dispatched to a reported house fire on Shadywood Drive in Perkasie. Deputy 26 had incident command, and assigned operations to Chief 27 and interior control to Battalion 76. Tower 27 arrived and threw ground ladders around the dwelling and placed the main ladder to the roof. Crews on scene were able to identify the source of the smoke and electrical odor as a faulty kitchen appliance. The tower crew assisted with ventilation before wrapping up equipment and returning to Sellersville.
