Shortly before 7 pm, Engine 27 was dispatched for an electrical incident in the area of Clymer Avenue and East Old State Road. Assistant and Chief 27 arrived to find smoke and flames from the bottom of a pole near the electrical substation. All units stood by until the arrival of PPL electric. Once the power was confirmed to be secure, crews were able to extinguish the fire.
