The Department had a busy start to the day today with five calls for service. First call was dispatched at 0514hrs by BCR for a fire alarm a 807 Lawn Ave. Crews arrived on location checked the building with no reason for the activation. Second call of the day came in at 0842hrs for a fire alarm at Grand View Hospital. After investigating, crews discovered steam in a utilities tunnel was the cause of the alarm.

As the Wagon was clearing the fire alarm at the hospital, BCR advised them to take in an auto extrication being dispatched in Station 59's (Silverdale) local. Wagon 27 returned to the Station on the way to the call switched the crew to Engine 27-1 and went responding. Police arrived on location and were able to get the door open with no need for fire or EMS services.

At 0943hrs the department was dispatched for ALS assist on a cardiac arrest with M151. The Wagon responded and Assisted M151 & M108 with patient care. As the Wagon cleared the ALS assist and BCR once again alerted the Wagon to respond on a gas leak in Station 59's local. Workers on scene struck a gas line while digging. The utility company was already on scene to secure the leak and the Wagon went available.
