On an unseasonably high temperature day, SFD Volunteers remained busy answering 3 calls for service.

Shortly before 1300, units responded to the Upper Bucks Orthopedics for a report of sparks coming from an outlet. After a quick investigation, the source was found to be a faulty extension cord.

Hours later, Engine 27-1 was dispatched with Rescue 26 (Perkasie) to Ridge Road in East Rockhill Township, for a report of a 1 vehicle roll over accident with someone trapped. The crew from Medic 151 extricated the patient and the Engine went available as they arrived on scene.

SFD Volunteers were again alerted during the rush hour commute for a report of a house fire in Hilltown Township. Engine 27 arrived and extinguished a brush fire that started to extend up the siding.
