Old Sellersville Firehouse, Built - 1927
2 N. Main St. - Sellersville, PA 18960

This is the demolition of the old station in July of 1996. The view from Main St. is approximately the same as the view above. Lack of available building space on our property, due to being located in a flood plain, forced the department into demolition to create space for the new station to be built.

The 2nd floor kitchen prepared many a meal for weddings, banquets, funerals and other special occasions. Many members of the department and auxiliary had their wedding reception in the hall also located on the 2nd floor

After nearly 70 years of service to the community, the building was just a pile of rubble in about five hours. Many of the members helped themselves to a brick or some other special memento to help keep the memory of the old station alive.
